MACSALAB 6, 8 & 10 Way Cascade Sample Splitter

MACSALAB Cascade Splitters are widely used in mining laboratories and refineries. The Cascade Splitter comprises a Stainless Steel feed hopper (i.e. 5, 10, or 20 litre capacity to client's choice), vibrating feeder with variable-speed control, Aluminium divider, carrier table and Stainless Steel 1 litre collection cups as standard. The base is of powder coated Carbon Steel construction.

Material contact parts are of Stainless Steel to ensure a smooth flow of material with no hang-ups and minimum sample segregation. The vibrating feeder provides an accurately controlled feed rate from zero to maximum setting and the spider/cutter ensures precise separation from cup to cup with no spillage. The carrier table rotates at a constant speed and is provided with a slip clutch for operator safety.

MACSALAB 8 & 16 Way Micro Sample Splitter

The MACSALAB Micro Splitter provides a quick and easy way to accurately split small samples.

The sample material is placed in the small feed hopper. Material is fed by means of a vibratory feeder with variable amplitude controller (used to adjust the material flow rate). Hopper and feeder tray are manufactured in Stainless Steel.

The material is fed into the sample cutter (turret) which rotates at a uniform rate. The sample cutter is manufactured from Aluminium.

Samples are divided into 50 ml glass test tubes for further analysis.

MACSALAB 12-Way Slurry Splitter

The MACSA 12-Way Slurry Splitter is built around a very robust Mild Steel base, which is powder coated for an attractive and easy to clean surface. All other components are of grade 304 Stainless Steel, which is easily cleaned between each sample to minimize contamination.

 The Slurry Splitter will split a given sample very accurately over a variable time period. The flow from the feed hopper is controlled by means of a ball valve and the slower the feed rate, the more accurate the split.

The Stainless Steel turning table, which holds the 12 Stainless Steel sample collection cups, rotates at a fixed speed. The unit also consists of a 20 Litre Stainless Steel hopper, ball valve flow adjustment, 12 x 0.9 Litre triangular Stainless Steel sample collection cups and 0.18 kW 220 Volt drive with slip clutch. A motor stirrer (agitator) for the Slurry Splitter is available at extra cost as well as variable speed turntable drive.
